Responsibilities
* Safely capture and relocate wildlife using approved methods. Ensure minimal stress and harm to animals during the process. * Transport wildlife to designated locations following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals and the public. * Actively participate in all provided training sessions to develop skills in wildlife handling and safety procedures. * Regularly inspect and maintain capture and transportation equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. * Accurately document wildlife capture and relocation activities and report any issues or unusual occurrences to the supervisor. * Adhere to all organizational policies and local wildlife regulations during the execution of job duties. * Work effectively with team members and communicate clearly to ensure coordinated efforts in wildlife management tasks.
Requirements
* A strong interest in wildlife conservation and animal welfare. * Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. * Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. * Able to commit weekend and public holiday work schedule arrangement.
