Responsibilities
-Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on complex machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
-Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
-Provide leadership and guidance to a team of equipment technicians, delegating tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
-Provide training to junior technicians and other staff on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
-Interact with equipment suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts procurement, and service agreements.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance) is preferred.
-Several years of experience as an equipment technician, with a proven track record of equipment maintenance and repair.
-Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
-Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Leadership and team management experience.
-Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols.
