Responsibilities
* Inspect and diagnose engine problems.
* Repair and maintain engines: Such as oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the engines.
* Test and troubleshoot engine performance.
* Keep records: You would need to keep accurate records of all repair and maintenance work performed on engines, including any parts that were replaced or repaired.
* Communicate with customers: You may need to communicate with boat owners or operators to explain engine issues, repair work required, and answer any questions they may have.
* Maintain a safe work environment: You would need to follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective gear when working with engines and other equipment.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Prefer candidates with min 2 year experience in marine engine repair or a related field.
* Strong technical skills and be knowledgeable about the operation, maintenance, and repair of marine engines, electrical systems, and other equipment.
