Responsibilities
Read drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machining and set up fixtures, tools and accessories;
Operating EDM machines;
To check all EDM electrodes are correctly machined;
To polish all EDM electrodes according to drawings;
Prepare parts for EDM machining;
Ensure parts are machined according to specifications;
Requirements
Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications;
Remove work piece, measure and check dimensions.
Take full responsibility on own work before passing on to fellow team members;
Prepare EDM parts as needed for the next operation
Perform maintenance of EDM machine;
Maintain good housekeeping within production & work area;
Assist in related projects or assignments assigned by Supervisor;
Ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor;
