Responsibilities
Job Description
The Account Manager will be the liaison between the sales / operations / presales teams and business clients to ensure the business growth and customer satisfaction.
The incumbent will be responsible to penetrate new sectors to create more enterprise accounts, address clients’ needs proactively and facilitate the sale processes from the beginning to closure. The incumbent will showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills to contribute to increased sales and maintain clients’ relationship at a high standard. The objective is to source and transform opportunities to long term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Responsibility
Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with new and established accounts that will increase business and ensure excellent client relations
Prepare customer proposals, reply to tenders, RFQs, etc. in close coordination with the Service Delivery / Project Managers
Prepare presales materials such as capabilities brochures, presentation materials and support sales team in keeping a record of proposals and continuous tracking of project deliveries
Assist sales team in sales forecasting and pipeline management
Good understanding of the project execution and delivery processes with strong ability to grasp clients’ requirements, conduct gathering of requirements and analysis, and
prepare functional requirements and services requirements’ specification documents
Drive sales to meet revenue targets by penetrating new markets and bringing in new customer accounts
Prepare and deliver sales presentations that address the client’s needs and lead to sales growth
Conduct prospecting, cold calling, qualifying customers, making presentations,
preparing proposals, following up and handling objections, closing sales and
maintaining good relationship with the customers
Submit to management all required sales and generate reports in a timely manner
Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned
Requirements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant disciplines
• At least 4-5years of experience in IT industry, with experience in Sales that is related to services
• Experience in Services Sales with tender and bidding participation
• Ability to perform account management, relationship building with new and dormant accounts and account maintenance duties
• Ability to work well with co-workers
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both written and presentation
Possess analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and pro-active in identifying new opportunities on the accounts
• Effective time management is a pre-requisite
