Responsibilities
Handle high level queries and operational orders between Overseas Offices, Clients and Agents.
Handle shipping quotes and maintain freight rate management.
Ensure processes are being adhered to throughout shipping process.
Creation of shipment orders onto CargoWise.
Ensure systems are kept up to date throughout the process. (CargoWise)
Invoicing shipments as well as QC of invoices received.
Agent relationship building and upkeep.
Understand and build trade lanes between our international offices (SE Asia to Europe, Africa, etc)
Statistical understanding and reporting of volumes and trade lanes
Mentor new team members.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics
General knowledge of Imports / Exports / General Logistics / Warehousing/ Customs / Rate Understanding
Sea freight and Air freight knowledge (Importing and Exporting)
Computer Literate, proficient in MS Office.
Able to perform tasks accurately and be detailed oriented
Positive attitude, team player, committed, responsible
