Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal repair and fabrication work on cars, including body panels, frames, and structural components.
Use various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to shape, cut, weld, and finish metal parts.
Repair and replace damaged or rusted metal components, such as doors, fenders, hoods, and roofs.
Follow repair manuals, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate and high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
Proven experience as a car sheet metal worker or similar role in the automotive industry.
Proficient in sheet metal repair techniques, including welding, cutting, shaping, and finishing.
Familiarity with using a variety of hand and power tools commonly used in metalworking.
Ability to interpret repair manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Certification or training in automotive sheet metal repair is a plus.
