Responsibilities
* Perform grooming services on various breeds of dogs and cats, including bathing, hair trimming, and nail clipping.
* Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
* Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming preferences and requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for pets.
* Handle and restrain pets appropriately during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Stay informed about breed-specific grooming standards and trends in the pet grooming industry.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Pet Groomer, with a portfolio showcasing grooming skills.
* Certification or training from a recognized grooming school or program.
* Knowledge of various grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs and cats.
* Ability to handle and manage pets with varying temperaments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet owners and colleagues.
* Passion for working with animals and a genuine love for pets.
* Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required.
