Responsibilities
Our Client is Metal Fabricator, your responsibilities are :
*Manage the schedule of all incoming jobs and ensure that the production schedules are met within acceptable quality and safety levels.
*Assist the Production Manager to monitor and manage workshop loadings, direct labor hours, overtime, rework, scrap, on-time deliveries, downtime, and work efficiencies and ensure all measurements are within plans.
*Work closely with Site Supervisors and Store to formulate shop floor production plans and optimize production hours and weekly planned hours ensuring on-time delivery.
*Assist in initiating purchase requisitions for any requirements. Keep records of Inventory and ensure that there is sufficient material inventory for Production use.
*Supervises Production Technicians in ensuring that QMS EMS and OHS procedures are adhered to.
*Perform any other task as instructed by the Superior.
Requirements
*Possess an NTC 3/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
*Minimum 3 years experience in the metal fabrication industry
*Experienced in handling metal fabrication machine
*Possess knowledge of safety procedures in handling machines as well as basic safety awareness in the factory.
*Strong Supervisory and leadership skills
*Possess problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
