Responsibilities
The Technical Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting on-site fluid system services across complex projects. The role focuses on advanced technical diagnostics, site execution, and acting as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and identify business opportunities.
* Execute and support on-site engineering activities (including STEPS and FISO programs)
* Perform technical troubleshooting, leak testing, and supervision of fluid system installations
* Act as the main technical point-of-contact for complex issues, escalations, and quality concerns
* Conduct root cause analysis and prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations
* Coordinate site activities, including permits, logistics, and stakeholder communication
* Support training delivery, customer engagement, and service promotion activities
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of relevant on-site experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or related industries
* Background in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering (Diploma or Degree preferred)
* Strong hands-on experience with fluid systems and site-based work
* Ability to manage technical troubleshooting, coordination, and customer-facing responsibilities independently
* Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
