Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation and cooking according to the restaurant’s standard recipes, especially Western dishes such as pasta, steaks, burgers, and salads.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
* Prepare ingredients, set up workstations, and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working condition.
* Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory control when required.
* Support dishwashing and general cleaning duties during non-peak periods.
Requirements
* Prior experience working in a kitchen or F&B setting is preferred (Western cuisine experience is a plus).
* Team player with a positive working attitude.
* Willingness to learn and perform various kitchen duties.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
* Transport claims reimbursable for shifts ending after midnight
