Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook authentic Korean dishes according to restaurant standards. * Plan and develop menu items, ensuring a balance of traditional and modern Korean cuisine. * Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. * Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation. * Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety. * Manage kitchen inventory, order ingredients, and control food costs. * Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. * Work closely with the restaurant management to improve menu offerings and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Korean cuisine. * Strong knowledge of Korean cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes. * Ability to lead a kitchen team and manage kitchen operations efficiently. * Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
