Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in food preparation and cooking.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant’s standards.
* Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen according to food safety regulations.
* Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and food cost control.
* Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.
* Monitor and ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes before serving.
* Follow kitchen safety procedures and maintain kitchen equipment.
Requirements
* At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a Western restaurant.
* Diploma or certification in culinary arts is a plus.
* Knowledge of Western cuisine and food preparation techniques.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
