Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and grilling of various types of fish according to the restaurant's Japanese cuisine standards.
Ensure proper marination, seasoning, and presentation of grilled fish dishes.
Monitor grilling equipment to ensure food is cooked at the correct temperature and time.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the work area, utensils, and grilling equipment.
Assist in receiving and storing fresh seafood ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
Comply with all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
Experience in food preparation or grilling (experience in Japanese cuisine is a plus).
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the restaurant’s cooking techniques.
Physically fit to handle the demands of a kitchen role, including standing for extended periods.
