Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare swimming lessons based on the students' age, skill level, and goals.
* Teach individuals or groups proper swimming techniques, including breathing, strokes, kicks, and floating.
* Provide demonstrations and explanations of swimming techniques, ensuring students understand and can replicate them.
* Assess students' swimming abilities and progress, and provide constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
* Develop lesson plans and swimming programs to accommodate different levels of proficiency, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
* Teach water safety practices, including recognizing hazards, proper use of flotation devices, and emergency procedures.
* Monitor students during lessons to ensure their safety and well-being in the water.
* Communicate with students and their parents or guardians to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and answer questions.
* Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all swimmers.
Requirements
* Strong Swimming Skills: Demonstrate excellent swimming abilities across various strokes and techniques.
* Teaching Experience: Previous experience as a swimming instructor or in a related teaching role is preferred.
* Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate swimming techniques to individuals of different ages and skill levels.
* Patience and Adaptability: Display patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with students with varying learning abilities and comfort levels in the water.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and organize swimming lessons, assess students' progress, and maintain records.
* Physical Fitness: Maintain good physical health and stamina to actively participate in swimming lessons and ensure student safety.
