Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces according to the recipes provided.
* Ensure that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
* Familiarize yourself with Chinese cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, braising, and roasting.
* Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
* Collaborate with the head chef to develop and plan menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
* Suggest new dishes or variations to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
* Keep track of ingredient inventory, assist with stock rotation, and ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage or cross-contamination.
Requirements
* Min 1-2 years experience in Chinese Cuisine.
* Collaborate effectively with the head chef, kitchen staff, and other team members.
* Communicate clearly, follow instructions, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
