Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, publish monthly KPIs on supplier performance
Conduct QBR meetings with key suppliers
Work with Suppliers upfront to enhance quality level to prevent and reduce defective ratio
Liaise with Suppliers on any quality issues for corrective and preventive solutions
Initiate and drive quality and productivity improvement projects with good problem solving skill
Perform capability study and failure analysis
Involve in new product implementation that involves suppliers
Perform internal and external quality audits
Initiate, lead and follow through on closure of CARs with suppliers and internal stake holders
Assist in the evaluation of new or existing SOPs
Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to all QMS requirement
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of quality experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 years of quality experience
Candidates with no relevant work experience are also welcomed to apply
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-driven individual with a positive learning attitude
Background in manufacturing industry is an advantage
Basic knowledge in FMEA, Control Plan, Quality Plan, QC Seven Tools, CAPA Methodology (i.e. 8D, 5-whys, Fish-bone etc)
Certified internal and/or external auditor per ISO9001 or having APIQ1 knowledge is an advantage.
