Responsibilities
Evaluation of complex machine drawings for manufacturing
Propose and implement tooling & fixtures for machining of complex features
Support sales team on accurate estimation of machining hours
He or she must have strong knowledge on CNC machining process
Create manufacturing routings in ERP system
Responsible to perform job closure in ERP system, evaluate the reasons for variances between planned and actual and provide explanation to Management and Finance. Provide actions to mitigate the variances
Involved in daily MRB (Material Review Board) meeting to provide technical input for jobs when non conformance occurs
Source and develop new relevant and good machining vendors to company’s approved vendor list. Provide technical guidance and ensure supplier passes first article approvals
Continuously seek and work on cost savings and new customer development projects
Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects
Requirements
Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Candidate should have a strong background in CNC machine shop environment.
Exposure to machining of complex parts for oil & gas equipment is preferred.
Good mechanical / technical skills
Good understanding of ANSI, ASME Standards and API Products requirements.
Proficient in design and programming software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks &MasterCam etc.
Strong communication and analytical skills, team player, energetic and willing to work hard.
The candidate needs to be self motivated with positive attitude and seek career growth.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
