Mon-Fri, Rotating shift, morning 7:30am to 5:00pm, 2nd shift : 12:15pm to 9:45pm, night shift : 9:00pm to 6:30am
Responsibilities
- To set-up machines according to instructions from Group Leader/Foreman and follow the proper working procedures. To operate the respective machineries in the section/department. To operate workshop machines include milling, turning and grinding with regards to tools for spring coiling.
- To ensure that parts are produced conforming to specifications using the appropriate measuring equipment and tools.
- To carry out In-process quality inspections and ensure that parts are labelled correctly.
- To take immediate action to correct non-conforming parts and segregate rejected parts. Liaise with QA for action plan and report rejections.
- To control and prevent the transferring of non-conforming parts to other departments and to educate the operators on the prevention of re-occurrence of product non-conformance.
- To trouble-shoot machines under their care and perform periodic maintenance.
- To draw and load raw materials for production.
- To ensure the achievement of production targets according to plan
- To ensure that machines and tools are properly maintained.
- To provide guidance and training to fellow new Technician and Operator assigned under their care.
- To maintain good working relationship between fellow colleagues.
- To maintain proper housekeeping in working area.
- Other duties as and when assigned by Superior.
Requirements
- Minimum O'Level/Nitec or equivalent
- At least 1-year experience in the Manufacturing/Production industry
- Willing to do OT with a good learning attitude
- Able to rotating shift
- Immediate starter preferred
