Responsibilities
- Ensure that all menu items are prepared and delivered in accordance Food Recipe and training guides including portioning and quality requirements
- Ensure that speed of service standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of menu items and processes, basic ingredients and food procedures to provide information to customers and crew as required.
- Ensure that all daily and weekly reporting and documentation is completed, maintained and filed in accordance with company requirements.
- Manage inventory and maintain stock at sufficient levels to ensure all products are available to customers at all times.
- Manage appropriate staffing and other resources to match customer demands and the provision of company products.
- Assist the RM to ensure that the required numbers of trained and certified crew members are available to effectively and efficiently operate the restaurant.
- On shift management of the restaurant crew in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of crew members to ensure that vacancies in the restaurant can be effectively filled as they occur.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the restaurant team members.
- Assist with the planning and conduct of restaurant leadership meetings
- Report on restaurant sales performance
- Assist with the execution of local area marketing as required
- Meet Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Cost of labour (COL) and Operating Cost targets for the shift as set by the RM.
Requirements
- Willing to undertake F&B related course if required
- Possess a good understanding of food safety concepts
- High level people management and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to understand, interpret and explain financial reports
- Willingness to learn and develop strong competence in various company systems
- Willingness and ability to undertake one shift per months in leading kitchen position
- Able to work on weekend and rotate shift
