Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations and repair schedules to ensure timely delivery with minimal critical errors.
* Delegate tasks effectively across departments (e.g. welding, CNC machining, turning, milling, hardening).
* Monitor progress and troubleshoot delays or quality issues as needed.
* Verify job order documentation is complete before job commencement.
* Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering best practices.
* Inspect workmanship quality, alignment tolerance, and part integrity before delivery.
* Identify and implement improvements to reduce rework and increase efficiency.
* Monitor consumables, spare parts, and key stock items to prevent shortages.
* Coordinate with internal project managers and upper management.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering repair or workshop operations
* At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity
* Strong understanding of welding, CNC machining, turning, milling, and hardening
* Excellent planning, delegation, and problem-solving skills
* Capable of managing multiple concurrent repair jobs
