Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the installation of membrane structures from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Oversee the on-site team, including contractors and technicians, to ensure that the installation of tensile and membrane structures is performed safely and according to design specifications.
* Address any on-site challenges related to the design, material installation, or structural integrity, collaborating with designers and structural engineers as needed.
* Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
* Liaise with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and technical requirements.
* Oversee the allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel for the site, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and report updates to management and clients.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in managing construction or installation projects, particularly involving tensile or membrane structures, would be highly beneficial.
* Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, material properties (such as fabric, steel, and cables), and load-bearing calculations for tensile structures.
* Proficiency in managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, with strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges.
* Ability to manage site operations, including labor and contractors, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate between various stakeholders and lead on-site teams.
